남부뉴저지통합한국학교(교장 김정숙)는 지난 2월 1일 뉴저지소재 열방교회에서 오전 10시부터 12시까지 커리어 특강을 개최했다. 학부모, 학생, 교사들을 대상으로 리크루팅 및 스테핑 기업인 In2U의 John Jeong 대표와 김미소 고문을 초청하여 '직업의 세계' 및 '성공적인 채용'에 대해 강의를 들었다. 인력 에이전트가 많은 북부뉴저지에 비해 남부뉴저지는 관련 정보가 부족하다. 이중언어구사가 가능한 인재들을 배출하는 핵심역할을 하고있는 본교에서 이같은 특강을 개최한 것은 이제 12학년까지의 교육을 넘어 대학진학 후 취업까지로 연계시키겠다는 의지를 보여 주는 시간이기도 했다. 학생들이 고등학교, 대학교를 거치면서 어떤 형태로든 인터뷰를 진행하기도 하고 직장생활로도 연계되는데, 전문가들로 부터 직장 현장의 목소리를 들을 수 있어 좋았다는 학부모들의 피드백이 있었다.

Parents provided positive feedback, noting that as students progress through high school and college, they inevitably face interviews and transition into the workforce. They appreciated the opportunity for students to hear firsthand insights from industry professionals.
