남부뉴저지통합한국학교(교장 김정숙, 이하 "학교") 예술단 공연팀은 재외동포청의 맞춤형지원으로 지난 1월 20일 3시간의 집중연수를 통해 실력을 연마했다. 김묘선 국가무형문화재 승무전승교육사와 발림무용단 이가원 지도위원, 우봉이매방춤보존회 이석원 사무국장과 김케이트 지도교사는 한국무용단 소고춤 집중연수를 체리힐 도서관 강당에서 오전 10시부터 오후 1시까지 실시했다. 뉴욕취타대 이춘승 단장과 윤도영, 윤도웅, 김경민 지도교사는 타악반의 모듬북과 사물놀이 연수를 뉴저지 열방교회에서 오전 9:30부터 12:30까지 실시했다. 이번 연수 참가자 31명은 봄학기에 있을 커뮤니티 공연을 위한 신규레퍼토리 학습에 중점을 두었다. 한국무용단 집중연수 마지막 시간에는 연수 참가자와 학부모님들을 위한 미니콘서트 형식으로 김묘선, 김케이트 선생님의 승무, 이석원 선생님의 법고, 이가원 선생님의 소고춤 공연을 감상했다.
한국과 미국을 오가면서 다채로운 국악공연을 지휘하는 이춘승 단장은 오는 2월 21일과 22일 뉴욕 퀸즈 시어터에서 열리는 뉴욕국악축전 및 뉴욕한마당 공연을 위한 준비 기간 동안 학교 예술단 타악반을 지도한다. 이날 연수를 마친 후 이 단장은 "미국 땅에서 자기 민족의 뿌리문화를 이토록 소중히 여기면서 학습하는 차세대 학생들이 한국 전통 타악을 제대로 표현하는 것을 보면서 제 자신이 더 감동을 받았다"고 소감을 밝혔다. 학교 예술단은 뉴저지, 펜실베니아, 뉴욕 등 인근 타주의 커뮤니티에서 초청공연 일정으로 봄학기도 왕성한 활동이 기대된다.

The K-Arts Company of the 토토 사이트 추천 (KSSNJ), led by Principal Chung Kim (hereinafter referred to as "the school"), honed their skills through a three-hour intensive training on January 20th, thanks to support from the Overseas Koreans Agency. Kim Myo-sun, a national intangible cultural heritage dance instructor, and Lee Gawon, a dance instructor from the Balim Dance Company, along with Lee Seok-won, Secretary-General of the U-Bong Immae Bang Preservation Society, and KSSNJ K-Dance director Kate Kim conducted focused training sessions on the traditional Korean dance called "Sogo-chum" at Cherry Hill Library Conference Room. Meanwhile, Director Chunseung Lee from the New York Korean Traditional Marching Band, and instructors Steven Yoon, Joshua Yoon, and John Kim led the percussion ensemble, exploring Modeumbuk and Samulnori at All Nations Church.
The 31 participants of this training focused on learning new repertoires for the upcoming community performance in the spring semester. During the final session of the intensive training with the Korean dance team, a mini-concert featuring performances by Kim Myo-sun, Kate Kim, Lee Gawon and Lee Seok-won was presented for the participants and their parents.
Chunseung Lee, who directs diverse Korean traditional music performances shuttling between Korea and the United States, will lead the school's percussion ensemble during the preparation period for the New York Korean Music Festival on February 21st and 22nd at Queens Theater, as well as the New York Hanmadang performance. Reflecting on the training, Director Lee expressed, "Witnessing the next generation students, who value their ethnic roots and culture so deeply even on American soil, express traditional Korean percussion so authentically, was truly moving for me."
The school's performing arts team is anticipated to engage in active performances in neighboring communities in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, and other nearby states during the spring semester.
