즐거운 부활절 휴일 보내셨는지요?
지난 4월 5일 학생회 주최로 아나바다 기금모금행사가 성황리에 종료되었고 학생회는 총 $654의 후원금을 학교측에 전달했습니다. 협조해주신 모든 분들께 감사드립니다.
축하합니다. 재미한국학교 동중부협의회 주관 나의 꿈 말하기 대회에서 본교 이예지 학생이 대상을, 박리아 학생이 은상을 수상했습니다.
제101회 한국어능력시험(TOPIK)의 시험장으로 본교가 선정되었습니다. 시험일자는 7월 12일이고 접수는 4월28일~5월9일에 https://www.kecny.org/topik에서 개별 신청하면 됩니다. 본교에서 3시간 보조교사로 봉사를 희망하는 학생은 유효기간 내의 TOPIK 5급과 6급 인증서를 제출해야 합니다. (혹은 한국에서 3년 이상 정규과정 수학) 토픽1/토픽2 같은 항목에서 기존 보다 점수가 향상된 학생이거나 기존 토픽1 시험자가 토픽2에 합격한 경우는 증빙을 제출할 시 토픽 응시료를 장학금으로 전달합니다. 많은 참여 바랍니다.
작년에 이어 올해도 광주시교육청이 새롭게 선발하는 고등학교 1.2학년 20명을 인솔하고 7월 23일 본교에 방문, 작년학생들에게 의미있는 소중한 교류시간을 가질 예정입니다. 본 프로그램에 참가를 원하는 고등학생은 교장단에게 연락주시기 바랍니다. 준비 및 참가 시간은 봉사 시간으로 인정합니다.
본교는 대한민국 인천 '청본 창작소'와 협약을 맺고 국제 문화교류 프로그램을 준비할 예정입니다.
2025-2026 인턴교사 신청자 중 4/26 면담자는 5/3이나 5/10로 일정을 조정해서 다시 알려드리겠습니다.

Dear Parents,
We hope you had a joyful Easter holiday.
On April 5, the student council successfully hosted the “Anabada” fundraising event and raised a total of $654, which has been donated to the school. We sincerely thank everyone who contributed and supported the event.
Congratulations! Jacqueline Lee, a student from our school, won the Grand Prize, and Leah Park won the Silver Prize at the “My Dream” Speech Contest hosted by the National Association for Korean Schools Mid-Atlantic Chapter.
Our school has been selected as a testing site for the 101st Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK). The test will be held on July 12, and registration is open from April 28 to May 9 at https://www.kecny.org/topik.
Students who wish to volunteer as assistant proctors for three hours at our school must submit a valid TOPIK Level 5 or Level 6 certificate within the certification's validity period. (or have completed at least three years of formal education in Korea) Students who have shown improvement in their scores compared to previous TOPIK tests, or those who have passed TOPIK II after previously taking TOPIK I, may be eligible to receive a scholarship covering the test fee upon submitting proof of improvement.
We encourage many of you to participate!
Following last year’s visit, the Gwangju Metropolitan Office of Education will once again select 20 high school freshmen and sophomores to visit our school on July 23. Like last year, this will be a meaningful cultural exchange experience for our students. High school students interested in participating in this program should contact the school administration. Time spent preparing for and participating in the program will be recognized as volunteer hours.
Our school is also planning to launch an international cultural exchange program in partnership with “Cheongbon Creative Studio ('Youth Maker')” based in Incheon, South Korea.
Among the applicants for the 2025-2026 internship teacher position, those scheduled for interviews on 4/26 will have their appointments rescheduled to either 5/3 or 5/10, and I will inform you of the new date.
The graduation ceremony and cultural arts festival are scheduled to take place on May 17th at the Burlington County Library, and all events are expected to conclude by 12:30 PM. (Address: 5 Pioneer Blvd, Westampton Township, NJ 08060)
