교과과정 지침서

1. 진단평가: 기간- 학년말 (4월 말 또는 5월 초)

               대상- Kindergarten부터 교재 6-2까지 진단평가

              출제자- 교과과정 위원회

               시험 감독- 담임교사, 교장, 교감

               시험 범위- K는 자음, 모음 / 교재 1-1부터  6-2까지는 교재 전 범위

              소요 시간- 약 20분 정도

2. 월반제도: 학생이 원하면 교사의 추천을 받고 희망 교재 레벨 테스트를 할 수 있다.

3. 생활 기록부: 각 교사는 학생의 한국어 실력 진도 상황과 수업 태도에 대한 간단한 사항을 기록한다. 

4.       희망 학년을 지원하는 교사들은 여론 조사를 통해 새 학년 반 담당을 정한다. 

5. 매월 첫 주 교사회의 때, 그 달에 있는 주요 전체 행사에 대해 안내를 해준다. (일정, 장소, 등록 방법...) 

6. 피드백: 교장, 교감이 반 배정에 대한 피드백을 위해 교사들과 1:1 상담을 하여 그 내용을 교과 위원회에 제공한다. 

7. Pre-K, K는 나이 기준(3살~5살/ 5, 6살)으로 하고, 1학년이 되면 교재 1-1로 올라간다.

(단, 한국어를 잘하는 학생은 부모와 의논하여 레벨을 정한다.) 

8. Pre-K와 K는 선생님의 재량 하에 반 이동을 정할 수 있다. 교과과정은 자음, 모음까지 가르친다. 

9. 한국어를 처음 배우는 학생은 나이에 상관없이(프리, 킨더 제외) 교재 1-1로 시작한다.

(학기 중에 등록: 화, 목 공부방을 이용하여 교재 1-1로 공부하고 토요일 수업에 합류한다. 단, 이 과정을 빨리 끝낸 학생은 레벨 테스트를 통해 반 배치를 받는다) 

10. 영어권 학생은 영어권에서 교재 1-1, 1-2를 끝낸 후, 한국어, 영어 혼용 반에서 교재, 2-1, 2-2를 공부하고 레벨 테스트를 통해 한국어 반 배치(이때는 그 학생의 수준에 따라)를 받는다.

Curriculum Guidelines

1. Diagnostic Evaluation:  Period- End of school year (late April or early May)
   1. Target - Diagnostic reviews from Kindergarten to Textbooks 6-2
      1. Applicants- Curriculum Committee
   2. Exam Directors- Homeroom Teachers, Principals, Vice Principal
   3. Test range -Kindergartens - consonants, vowels/    textbooks 1-1 to 6-2, pre-textbook
      1. Duration- about 20minutes

2. Skip a grade system:  Students can receive recommendations from teachers and take the desired textbook level test if they wish.
3. School Record:  Each teacher records a brief description of the student's progress in Korean language and class attitude.
4. Teachers who want to change their desired to new grade will be polled determine new class grade.

5. The first week of each month's teachers' meetings, provide guidance on the major events of the month. (Schedule, place, how to register...)
6. Feedback:  Principal and vice principal will provide one-on-one consultations with teachers to provide the curriculum committee with feedback on class assignments.
7. Pre-K, K is based on age (3to 5years old/5 years old, 6years old) and when students move up to the first grade, starting to use the manuals 1-1
   1. (However, students who speak Korean well discuss with their parents to set the level.)
8. Pre-K and K may at the discretion of the teacher to determine the moving of the class. The curriculum demands consonants and vowels to be completed before students moving up to next levels
9. Students who are new to Korean, start with a manual 1-1, regardless of age (excluding pre-K and kindergartens).
   1. (Enrollment during the semester, Study 1-1 in the manual using Tuesday and Thursday study rooms and join Saturday classes. However, students who have completed this course quickly, receive a class placement through a level test)
10. English-speaking students complete the manuals 1-1, 1-2 in English, then study the manuals 2-1, 2-2 in the Korean and English mixed classes, and depending on the student’s level, students can receive a level test to place the Korean class.
